Executive/ Sr. Executive – Travel

Location:  Delhi, India
Type: Full Time                         Experience: 1 – 3 years

About the role

  • As a part of the travel team incumbent, the person will work on ticketing & reservations, logistics management, travel coordination and cancellations etc.
  • Air Travel itinerary planning and booking well in time as per the policy of the company for internal customers of company
  • Booking of hotels and cabs for travelers in key cities in India and abroad
  • Responsible for timely and full communication about the travel arrangements to internal customers
  • Timely, thorough and accurate processing of the invoices of travel agents and hotels etc.
  • Coordination with vendors, airlines and travel agent including the travel implants and processing of their invoices
  • Overall responsibility of giving a good travel experience to internal customers

Skill set

  • Should have a Bachelors / Masters degree in Travel and Tourism
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Displays high energy and complete ownership. Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment without time constraints
  • 1- 3 years of work experience

About the role

Working with a small team for:

  1. Accounts Payable
    • Revenue generation through sales of QAI’s consulting solutions
    • Key account management of QAI’s global accounts
    • Hunting and farming key accounts in assigned regions- Domestic & International.
    • Taking a consultative approach of identifying client requirements & providing suitable solutions
  2. Completely owning the process of making foreign payments and related WHT
  3. Banking and funds management
    • Interacting & managing relationship with banks, and handling day to day funds movement, optimization and consolidation. Verifying and checking interest and bank charges debited by banks.
    • Tracking FDRs and accrual of interest on them. Checking and ensuring proper interest credit in accounts and by the bank.
    • Tracking other outstanding export credit availed and ensuring timely repayments. Completing all documentation and formalities for availing and repaying the loans.
    • Tracking forex rates, advising on impact of changes on business, and strategy to manage the impact
  4. Monthly closing, MIS, Audit
    • Preparing/Checking the monthly and year-end provisions
    • Preparing and releasing monthly expenses MIS reports as well as the P&L of the entity as per defined templates and timelines
    • Participating in and enabling proper progress of statutory, tax & internal audit and ensuring satisfactory closure of all issues to get audit reports in timely manner
  5. Fixed Assets accounting
  6. Negotiating, buying and tracking insurance covers

Skill set

  • Chartered Accountant with Article training from a reputed CA firm, or MBA from an institute of repute
  • Work experience in IT/ Services / Consulting company
  • Highly process-oriented
  • Excellent and fast excel skills
  • Willing to work hard and learn new things
  • Capability to deliver very high level of performance in very demanding environment
  • Someone with a strong sense of initiative and personal leadership
  • Good spoken & written english
  • 4-7 yrs post-qualification relevant work experience
